Manifest Positivity into Your Life

iSoberCoach "PLAY TO WIN" Life Principles #25, "Positive people attract positive people".

Having an attitude of gratitude changes everything! Our world could sure use a little more of that. Let's commit to do our part. Journaling your gratefuls everyday is a great habit!

Where do I start?

We ALL want good things to happen for us. We ALL deserve good things to come our way.

The best place to start is with "me." The best way to start is "small." Life can be very rewarding. Most of us will never hit it big with the lottery. Right now, we are just hoping to catch a lucky break. Anything is better than nothing!

We agree

RAA is all too familiar with the challenges of recovery and rebuilding from a destructive past. But do not despair! Help is on the way! Let's look at this simple strategy:

1. Write down a simple goal. Something easy. Don't write down "I will lose 50 pounds." Write down, "I will lose 2 pounds."

2. Write down a reward for your accomplishment; like a movie night as an example.

3. Set a time line for completion; like 1 week as an example.

There is no one better to set your goals, hold yourself accountable and reward yourself. Have we not all learned in life already that no one else is going to do it for us? Journaling positive thoughts and setting positive, rewarding goals is a great place to start.

Successful sobriety is one little win after another

Positive pay offs

What we strive for is progress, not perfection. False hopes and false expectations have left us all too often dismayed and we simply give up. We addicts and alcoholics, or most people in general, like to be recognized and rewarded. Begin to live and have a positive life by creating that for yourself. Others will quickly take notice.

Small things lead to big things

Much like a "gateway drug" leads to full blown addiction, small accomplishments lead to bigger ones. Two pounds lost can lead to twenty. Soon this same practice of setting attainable, trackable goals leads to a very rewarding and positive life in Successful Sobriety.
