Turning Failures into Opportunities

Does lemonade really come from real lemons? How do you bounce back after failure?

At RAA we believe that seasons in life do change.

Spring is on the way

The sun always comes out after the rain. Facing the storms of life can be difficult. But have the confidence knowing - "This too shall pass."

Many of us have had times of loneliness, heartbreak and regret in our life. When you get on the other side of the pain or tragedy, looking back can only give us a renewed sense of belonging and acceptance.

Hang in there

More often than not, the overwhelming sense of despair that we often feel can be lessened with a new, friendly experience:

1. Talk it out. Be willing to open up. Holding it all in does not generally help.

2. Attend a public, group outing. Maybe a movie, a seminar, a 12-step meeting, a church service. Go with a friend.

Start the rebuilding process

Stop waiting for God to do your part. You have a part to do.

Living with regret or loss is not easy. Some believe time heals all wounds. Although this holds some truth, it will take work on our part. It doesn't just magically go away or fix itself. Begin the healing process now.

This is your opportunity to grow. Often times, not knowing what to do is 90% of the battle. ISC Successful Sobriety Curriculum will give you more than enough to keep you occupied and invested in rebuilding yourself. Click here to get started today!  We will be with you every step of the way! The new you will be the best version of you we've ever seen. Remember - Our best days are still ahead!
